The Social Service Club of Saraswathi College organized a visit to Buds School, Poovachal, on Monday, 13th October 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The visit aimed to promote compassion, social awareness, and inclusiveness through meaningful interaction, food sharing, and entertainment activities. It was also intended to foster empathy and extend support to the mentally challenged students of the school.
A total of 21 student members and three faculty coordinators participated in the event. The faculty team comprised Mr. Govind, Mr. Sandeep, and Ms. Archana, who provided guidance and supervision throughout the programme. On behalf of the students, Ms. Devichandana, Ms. Aleena, and Mr. Aswin efficiently coordinated and managed the day’s activities with enthusiasm and dedication.
At Buds School, 35 students and four teachers actively participated in the event. Ms. Ambili, representing Buds School, made all necessary local arrangements and extended wholehearted support to ensure the smooth conduct of the program.
