On June 30th, 2025, postgraduate English Literature students from Saraswathi College of Arts and Science held a grammar and comprehension teaching session for Higher Secondary students at St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Peyad. This initiative was part of their English Language Teaching coursework.
Each postgraduate student worked with a different group of Plus One students for an hour, delivering engaging grammar lessons and leading interactive communication activities.
The session was a success, proving both effective and enjoyable for everyone involved. The postgraduate students found the experience particularly enriching, as it gave them a valuable chance to practice and hone their teaching skills in a real classroom setting. The feedback from the school students was very positive.
We’re incredibly grateful to the management and administration of St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Peyad, for their warm welcome and for graciously allowing our students to conduct these classes, providing them with this wonderful teaching opportunity. It was a truly rewarding and heartwarming experience for both our faculty and students.
