The Inauguration of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) at Saraswathi College of Arts and Science was successfully conducted on 13th January 2026 at 10:00 AM. The event marked a significant milestone in strengthening the institution’s commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-oriented learning.
The programme highlighted the vision of fostering a strong innovation ecosystem within the campus by encouraging students to develop creative ideas, engage in startups, and adopt problem-solving approaches aligned with societal and industrial needs. The objectives of IIC and IEDC, including nurturing entrepreneurial skills, promoting research-based innovation, and supporting student-led initiatives, were clearly emphasized.
The inaugural session was graced by Mr. Ranjith Vijayan, Founding Partner of Inscapre Labs and AI Evangelist, as the Special Guest. His address inspired students and faculty by sharing insights on innovation, emerging technologies, and the role of entrepreneurship in shaping future careers.
