The Short-term Certificate Course was inaugurated on 28/01/2023 via a Google Meet. Dr. Annamma George, Head of the Department of English, gave the welcome speech, followed by the inaugural address from Prof. N Jayakumar.
The first session was on Content Writing for Online News platforms, with Gopik K P, Chief Sub-Editor of The Hindu, as the Chief Guest and resource person.
The session was very informative, with Gopika discussing various aspects of writing for online platforms, including SEO writing. There were around 50 students registered for the course. The session was well received by the attendees and was deemed to be very beneficial in providing a comprehensive understanding of the topic.
