Workshop on child protection system and POCSO act

The department of psychology in association with childline, Thiruvananthapuram organized a workshop on the child protection system and the POCSO act. Mr. Jobi Kondoor, District coordinator, Thiruvananthapuram was the resource person. Creating awareness about child protection was the main objective of the workshop. The resource person spoke about child rights, the POSCO act, sexual harassment, and assault to name a few. It was an informative session relevant to the title. Hands-on training were also present in the session which was well appreciated by the students
